I have been involved in education for many years as a professor of engineering. Now I am concerned about fixing education in our schools. It makes not sense to me that we cannot fix the schools. So much time and money has been invested and we see very little progress. Perhaps what we need is a little COMMON SENSE........... Voltaire said that 'common sense is not so common'.
When I was in school I was CLUELESS about many things. When I was a college professor I was CLUELESS about many things. The purpose of this blog is suggest some CLUES to help us to save our schools, right now..........Here I have listed 17 suggestions. These ideas can be applied at the personal level, at the class level, at the school level and at the government level.......... We can begin with ourselves to improve our own learning. That is what I am trying to do with this blog. You, too, can experiment with your own blogs and your own ideas, RIGHT NOW, TODAY..........Take a few minutes to go over one of the suggestions. Watch one of the short YouTube videos. Think about it. Debate it. Add your own ideas. One idea, one step can make a difference. EMAIL Harry: SavingSchools (at) SavingSchools.org
