Real change is seen as coming from the top, from the superintendent, the state or the federal government. The people in control tend to be control freaks. They say they want change, but they try to prevent anyone from 'rocking the boat'.

In fact, change can come from the bottom as well as from the top. It can come inside the school box, or outside the school box.
In fact, this blog was created as an amateur experiment, in search for real time, immediate solutions for fixing our schools. It is not based on book knowledge and data, but rather it is based on speculation and common sense reasoning.
In reality, solutions can come from any source. Students, teachers, parents and most anyone can come up with an idea that works. By a process of elimination we may, indeed be able to fix our schools, right now, using existing resources of money, equipment and personel.
Please take a few minues to look at these ideas for saving our schools. Do not be tempted to speed read these suggestions, by scrolling down rapidly to the bottom. Take your time and perhaps you will save a lot of time, in the process. Four years of high school is over 2,000,000 minutes long.

Real change is seen as coming from the top, from the superintendent, the state or the federal government. The people in control tend to be control freaks. They say they want change, but they try to prevent anyone from 'rocking the boat'.

In fact, change can come from the bottom as well as from the top. It can come inside the school box, or outside the school box.
In fact, this blog was created as an amateur experiment, in search for real time, immediate solutions for fixing our schools. It is not based on book knowledge and data, but rather it is based on speculation and common sense reasoning.
In reality, solutions can come from any source. Students, teachers, parents and most anyone can come up with an idea that works. By a process of elimination we may, indeed be able to fix our schools, right now, using existing resources of money, equipment and personel.
Please take a few minues to look at these ideas for saving our schools. Do not be tempted to speed read these suggestions, by scrolling down rapidly to the bottom. Take your time and perhaps you will save a lot of time, in the process. Four years of high school is over 2,000,000 minutes long.
